Andy Lee (@realandylee) is an award-winning writer, poet, photographer, lyricist, musician and member of the Writers Guild of Canada.
He writes stories for adults and children, for screen and print. Andy has incanted his poems at the International Festival of Authors, the Nuyorican Poets Café in New York City, down under in Australia and on the playa of the Black Rock Desert, among other places.
Andy’s passion for photography was ignited as a child experimenting in the basement darkroom of his father’s camera store, and his craft forged at Ryerson University. His images have appeared in Exclaim! and Perfect Bound magazines, and have been featured online by CBC, CJRU 1280AM and the University of Toronto.
His poetry has appeared in Event and Vallum magazines and was shortlisted for the latter’s 2017 Chapbook Award. Andy’s poetry chapbook, Love Is a Side Effect of Life, and children’s book, Chrys and Coco, are available on Amazon.
